Music Marketing Campaign

 Campaign Progress

Once we chose our song, electric feel, we started brainstorming how we were going to represent our singer. We decided to go with representing him through a more electric vibe.We are going to do this through LED lights and electric guitars.Once we figured out our singer we compared him to similar artists which is where we started our initial research.

When we started searching for companies and found similar creators such as Tate Mcrae and Tyler the Creator. While we found the music is different they are both in the pop genre and also have similar target audiences and demographics which is why we chose them to help create our marketing campaign. Which is when we chose to set our target audience at teenagers 16 to 21.

Once we started our whole process st
ep by step we used our own personal experiences of how we saw people go viral over quarantine mixed with research. The internet and quarantine changed the way singers blow up everywhere specifically on Tik Tok which is why one of our first steps is to post a snippet of the song on Tik Tok and instagram to possibly blow up and create an audience.While this receives feedback we will post the release dates and sneak peeks of behind the scenes of the music video.

    The music video we originally struggled with because we couldn't figure out the perfect story for our song. While we brainstormed we wanted to keep the initial storyline of the song, where he is singing about his feelings for a girl. While we wanted to keep this idea we thought it would be cool to make the video in a way that he is stuck and can’t write a song, until he meets this girl and she’s the inspiration to his music.
